Real World—Real Learning—Real Life

Quincy School District is excited to announce the opening of Quincy Innovation Academy, a Big Picture Learning School as an option for 7-12th graders. For more than twenty years, Big Picture Learning has worked to put students at the center of their own learning. Today, hundreds of Big Picture Learning network schools in the United States and around the world work together and in their communities to re-imagine and reshape education. The academy will offer two programs. An on-line 7-12th grade high school and a 9-12 Big Picture school. Both programs offer another pathway for students to find their passion, talents, and skills, we know that one model does not work for all students. We believe our students thrive in an innovative environment that gives students a voice in their education. Students contribute to a kind, respectful, inclusive and vibrant community learning alongside staff to become the directors of their learning.
